Square based tower situated at only 32 metres above sea-level, in front of Argentarola rock. Its name originates by Turks and Barbary pirates who made waves in this waters for centuries.
Only few ruins are visible nowadays and they are in the care of the Historic and Artistic branch of Italian State Property Office.
