This small strand at the beginning of the sea front is made of pebbles. When looking attentively at them, one is able to recognize those that were the remains left by the last bombing of the town during Second World War beside those polished by see and air.
When rebuilding, a lot of debris had been shoved to this stretch of coast to allow the works to begin.
